Kojima (and Konami) are building steady hype for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain at E3 this year, it stared with teases for the announcement of Snake's new voice actor during Konami's pre-E3 stream and was followed by Kojima teasing a new trailer, but now we've got a new slice of information to throw into the mix.
Firstly Konami released this brief trailer to generate pre-E3 hype concerning the forthcoming announcement:
OPM picked up on an incredibly interesting tweet from David Hayter, the former voice actor who played the role of Snake.
"I'm so excited for E3! I just hope I don't lose my voice," Hayer tweeted; he even included a winking smiley emoticon to further convey his cheekiness.
So, now we play the guessing game: is Kojima just trolling the Metal Gear Solid fan base or is Hayter legitimately just joking around about someone else taking on the role of Snake?
