Are you a fan of Soccer games? If so, then you'll want to mark September 24th on your calendar because that's when Konami will be releasing Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 across America.

The latest installment in the long-running PES franchise is a complete overhaul with the newest entry running on the powerful FOX Engine from Kojima Productions. Considering that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which also runs on the FOX Engine, blew my mind it'll be interesting to see how a soccer game utilises the engine's new advantages.

PES 2014 brings with it six key gameplay improvements, including TrueBall Tech, Motion Animation Stability System, Heart, PES ID, Team Play, and the Core. TrueBall Tech gives players complete body control of their players, M.A.S.S simulates bodily contact between players with more accuracy, Heart allows players to tackle new mental attributes that can be either positive or negative, PES ID lets players accurately recreate play styles, Team Play offers players more freedom with tactics, and the Core consists of plenty of general improvements, including faithfully recreated stadiums.

So, are you going to pick up Pro Evolution Soccer 2014?

[3DS] Nintendo slaps an official release date on the black 3DS XL for America

[3DS] Nintendo slaps an official release date on the black 3DS XL for America
Nintendo have decided to slap an official release date on the black 3DS XL, even though it was sort of leaked last week. [Image: game-news-image-2013-35312f27cba4e344147...b06074.jpg]
The new colour (or shade) will be made available for purchase in America on the 11th of August, which is also the same day as Americans will be able to purchase Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. The new 3DS XL expands the current colour line-up to four, it originally consisted of: blue, red, and pink.

So, there you have it. Will you be picking up a black 3DS XL? Can I also point out that I restrained myself from pointing out that Europeans can already buy Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and that the game is actually quite good? Well, I almost went the whole post without mentioning it.
