Warner Bros media roundup: Mr. Freeze, impostors, Orcs and monsters

Warner Bros Interactive went gritty at Gamescom this year with new screens from Batman: Arkham City, Gotham City Impostors, Lord of the Rings: War in the North and, most gruesome of all, Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster. We still can't believe they're marketing those fluffy, brightly colored puppets to children. The humanity, WB. Check out all the WB galleries from Gamescom right here -- if you dare.

NintendoWare Weekly: Demos, Faceez: Monsters

With the 3DS now out in stores -- and unable to support DSiWare until May -- we expected Nintendo's download service to become a total ghost town today. It's definitely a slower day for the service than most Mondays, with just two new games (one of which is Faceez: Monsters, allowing us to relive the joy of finding out something was called Faceez), but releases are still happening.
WiiWare Demo: Dart Rage (JV Games, 1-4 players, 0 Wii Points): If it makes you angry that this is just a demo, the full version is available for 600 points.Demo: Learning with the PooYoos: Episode 2 (Lexis Numerique, 1 player, 0 Wii Points): In case you didn't get enough from the demo of Episode 1, but would have gotten too much from buying the full episode.DSiWare Simply Solitaire (Engine Software, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): You get the idea.Faceez: Monsters! (Neko Entertainment, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): Take pictures of your friends' faces with the DSi camera, and then turn them into vampires, werewolves, and other monsters in spooky scenes.

There have been occasional no-release days in the past, but today marks the first time in the history of the service that only demos have come out.
