Sakurai has been somewhat sneaky with a few of his picture updates for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. titles, first he revealed that Captain Olimar would return as a playable character and now he seems to have shown a new stage.
The image was posted today and features the classic SNES Pilotwings island in the background, however there is nothing indicating how the stage will actually work.

It seems as though the actual image could be a background, indicating a floating stage similar to the Super Mario Sunshine stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but Sakurai could surprise us with something completely different.
Recently, Pilotwings moved away from this location and moved the action to the skies over Wuhu Island in Pilotwings Resort for the 3DS.
