You might recall that I wrote about the upcoming Metroid fan album, 'Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run'. Well, I'm happy to let you all know (if you already didn't know) that the album is finished and up for download over at Shinesparkers.

The album is spread across 3-discs and features 39-tracks filled with Metroid goodness.

I've spent the last day listening to it on loop and am in love with it, any self respecting Metroid fan owes themselves to buy it. Tracks that I've thoroughly enjoyed include Derris-Kharlan's 'Metroid Medley 2', Theophany's 'Gravity', and Sam Dillard's 'Beyond the Glass'. I could go on for hours about how much I am enjoying listening to it but I recommend you dive in yourself.

Here's the final video preview again.

Don't forget to head over to the 'Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run' Facebook page and 'like' them if you haven't already.

[Wii] A Pair of Skyward Sword Gameplay Trailers for Twice the Awesome

[Wii] A Pair of Skyward Sword Gameplay Trailers for Twice the Awesome
Nintendo of Japan has unleashed a duo of trailers for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, each comprised entirely of gameplay. Someone in the interwebs has also been so kind to subtitle the videos for those of us yet to perfect our Japanese. Skyward Sword lands at retail on November 18 in Europe and November 20 in North America.

I'm excited about skyward sword, but ( me being left handed and all ) I don't think it'll be better than twilight princess.

it's a prequal to ocarina of time, which means,
no epona
no ganondorf
Link doesn't even have the triforce
I even heared that Zelda isn't even a princess in this game, just an ordinary citizen, which also means, no sheik, and if that's true I'd hope smash would stick to the twilight princess costumes for SSBU.
and one other thing, if it's a prequal to OoT then where does Link get the hero's clothing from, if there has been no hero?

still despite all that I still desperately want this game.

I think you're taking the whole "prequel" thing a bit too literally. While the Zelda series has a loose chronology out of necessity, most of the games have little or nothing to do with one another in terms of the story. The timeline of the series spans centuries with many different iterations of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf (Twilight Princess is supposedly set 100+ years after Ocarina of Time, as is Wind Waker). Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Epona, the Triforce, etc. are staples in nearly every Zelda game and they will be in Skyward Sword too (except maybe Epona). [Image: default.png]

I never said I wasn't looking forward to it, or that it wasn't good, plus the Zelda timeline gets a bit confusing , still now i've seen some more of it and researched the gameplay i'm thinking this may actually have a chance of being better than TP, but i'm still confused over how Link gets the hero's clothes if there has been no hero, but that doesn't matter. still I prefer it when ganondorf is the main threat. plus I prefered the looks of the TP characters that skyward swords. yeah, well storyline aside were forgetting the most important problem on the list I posted earlier , I'm left handed and the game has been announced to have to use ur right hand more. I'm terrible with my right hand I once wrote my name with my right hand and then did the same with my foot, u could read the writing better in the one written by the foot. ( don't ask me why I did this , cause I don't know ) I'M UNBEATABLE!

Awesome Way To Find Free Red Wii « A Community of Character

14 Feb

Posted in General on 14.02.11 by Merlyn

Paint the town red! An idiom of speech that figuratively means – to go all out and have a blast! Well, it seems like a certain maker of video game consoles has taken the idiom quite seriously and has decided to launch its newest offering, in radiant red. That’s right; Nintendo Co. Ltd. has gone all out to woo its audience with its new Wii or Red Wii, as it is popularly known. Snazzy and smart, the Red Wii has stolen a march over its competition. No joysticks for this toy, but rather a Wii remote with built-in gyroscopic capability and IR broadcaster.

All one has to do, is point and shoot! With Wi-fi and Bluetooth connections in place, this new-age gizmo has certainly kept with the times. But by far the best part of the new Red Wii is that it could be obtained for free. A Free Red Wii is a fantastic product that could be yours, if you drop by at FreeRedWii.net. The site contains a series of posts, many of which discuss the Free Red Wii offer. The posts lead a reader to coupons and marketing schemes that are presenting Red Wii’s to lucky winners. We say; be that winner, take home a Free Red Wii! What do you say?
