New Skylanders teased in trio of Swap Force videos

by Danny Cowan Writer RSS on Sep 25th 2013 11:00PM

Activision touts the swappable possibilities (or "swappabilities," if you will) of its new Skylanders toy line debuting next month alongside the multiplatform action-adventure game Skylanders: Swap Force in the new trailer above. Warning: contains farts. Swappable farts.

Swap Force's character-combining mechanics are further explored in today's second trailer, which can be seen after the break below. A third trailer introduces the short-fused character Countdown, who joins a recent quartet of newly announced figures. Skylanders: Swap Force will launch next month for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and PC platforms. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will premiere later this year.

[PC] Amnesia follow-up teased, ARG reveals clues

[PC] Amnesia follow-up teased, ARG reveals clues
A while ago, Frictional Games launched a new website teasing "something is coming", ever since then fans have been working around the clock to figure out what exactly it could be referring to. Clicking on the image leads you to a Google Maps page focused on a tower in Seattle, called Smith Tower. Inside the tower you'll find the The Chinese Room. This is leading fans to speculate that the new game from Frictional Games could be tied to Chinese history.

Fans even dug so deep that they managed to uncover an interactive element to the website as well, which you can check out here. By typing "USER THOMAS" into the relevant area will download the following image to your desktop (you may click on the image to discover the full image that fans have since uncovered).

They have also discovered a jumble of letters "P F C I N C M I O I S G G." This can be rearranged to "GIF PICS COMING", which could mean that some more content is coming. No doubt there is more information buried in the ARG, you can keep tabs on progress over here.
