Nintendo opens UK web store with free delivery in this, our year of Luigi

If you're a resident of the United Kingdom and would prefer to put your money directly into Luigi's pocket, rather than into the coffers of big business, you now have the option of doing so, as the Nintendo UK Online Store has opened for business.

The shop offers the expected range of Wii U bundles, limited-edition Pokemon-themed 3DS units, games and other various sundries. While there don't appear to be any sales or surprises to speak of, other than in-stock New Leaf 3DSes, you do get free shipping on every order and free next-day delivery on orders over £200.

Disney Infinity opens up its Toy Box, gives us a look inside

Toy Box mode is Disney Infinity's sandbox creation side, allowing you to construct your own worlds in real-time. What you create is based on what in-game content you've unlocked. It's an open-ended mode where Disney franchises can collide within the same arena, though we suppose that can be said about Disney infinity in general too.

Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai opens up its manly heart

If we didn't know any better (and we generally don't), we'd think Cabela's has gone soft on us. A new trailer for Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai has all the nasty beasties and ferocious growling that any hunting game should, but it also has a heart -- in the trailer, it appears our hunting hero saves a helpless woman from the dark and cold, um, shadows of Katmai, which is not a fantastical land east of Rivendell. The woman, however, is still pretty helpless, because this is a hunting game for real men, and it takes a certain amount of distressed-damsel-saving to maintain such an illustrious title.

Nintendo opens teaser site for Wii 'Pandora's Tower'

Today, Nintendo of Japan posted a teaser site for a new Wii game called "Pandora's Tower: Until I Return to Your Side." Not a thing is known about it other than what can be seen and heard on the site, which means all we can confirm at this point is a back tattoo and the spoken line "Dying and becoming beautiful, or living even though you're ugly. Which will make you happier?" (as translated by Andriasang). If we had to guess, we'd say this looks like the work of Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft.

Despite the total lack of information, Nintendo of Japan president Satoru Iwata said in an investor presentation that the game is almost complete, and Nintendo plans to launch it this spring in Japan.
