Tatsunoko vs Capcom no longer being sold due to rights lapse

Capcom's deal with Japanese animation company Tatsunoko Productions has expired. As a result, says Capcom Senior VP Christian Svensson, the company can no longer sell physical or digital copies of Wii fighter Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Capcom published the Eighting-developed Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the Wii back in 2010. Svensson also seems to imply "slim" chances for a Wii U version, unless Capcom and Tatsunoko strike up a new deal.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop for $11.50

The Capcom store has heavily discounted two games that both happen to feature Frank West: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop. Both Wii exclusives can be yours for $11.50, unless you want a side order of FightStick with that Tatsunoko sammich.
