Shadow of the Eternals is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure steeped in psychological horror that is the spiritual successor to the critically acclaimed Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem(GameCube, 2002). Developed by Precursor Games, Shadow of the Eternals is expected to launch in fall 2014 on PC and Wii U. And, because Precursor Games recently became an official PS4 developer, it has added the PS4 as a stretch goal in its Kickstarter Campaign.

[PC] SimCity 5 Concept Art Leaked?

[PC] SimCity 5 Concept Art Leaked?

It's been a long and arduous wait for SimCity fans anxious for the next proper entry in the venerable city-building franchise (no, SimCity Societies does not count). In fact, it's been over nine years since the critically-acclaimed SimCity 4 was released in early 2003. Light may be emerging from the end of the tunnel though, as a NeoGAF poster has posted a handful of concept art images for what is allegedly SimCity 5.

The images apparently come from German gaming magazine GameStar and the poster includes a crudely-translated article about the game, with highlights pointing toward new graphics, rounded roads, upgradable buildings, smarter Sims, dynamic music, more individualized and compelling cities, and even multiplayer gameplay.

This will remain a rumour until further confirmation of course, however it does fit in nicely with the mystery announcement that Maxis is going to make at GDC on March 6.

Eternal Darkness concept art shows endings that could have been

by on Feb 15th 2011 12:00AM

You have to like Eternal Darkness to work at Joystiq. It's on the application exam (right next to the section on Metal Gear Awesome). As such, it is our duty to share the discovery of some Eternal Darkness concept art on the Behance Network page of John Dobbie, former assistant lead artist for Silicon Knights.

The various pieces depict several endings that never made it into the final game (which ended up with four possible endings). The images depict a zombie apocalypse, giant structures built with human bones and humanity marching directly into the mouth of the lobster-like god, Chattur'gha.

Head over to Dobbie's Behance page to check them out.
