[PC] Announcement trailer surfaces for King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition

[PC] Announcement trailer surfaces for King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition
The rumours surrounding an impending PC release for King of Fighters XIII via Valve's Steam have been floating around for awhile now. However, we have our first piece of real evidence supporting the PC port.

An announcement trailer has surfaced on YouTube supposedly outing the King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition of the game and seemingly confirms that it will be released in the future. SNK Playmore hasn't confirmed anything at this point, but it seems like the trailer has done that work for them.

Would you play King of Fighters XIII on Steam?

Thanks VG247.

[Multi] Splash Damage posts timestamp leading to a new announcement

[Multi] Splash Damage posts timestamp leading to a new announcement
A new image has surfaced on the Splash Damage website leading the internet to believe that they'll be announcing something new before lunchtime next Thursday. [Image: game-news-image-2012-86ed3c83e986cc62e73...0122e2.png]
11:29 on the 29th of November could lead us anywhere, but some of the more switched on people across the web have noticed that the logo is very similar to the design featured in Splash Damage's iOS title, RAD Soldiers. Its already saved as 'car_teaser' as well, for what its worth.

Thanks for the heads up, PCGamesN.

I wasn't a huge fan of Brink, so I'm hopeful that Splash Damage can deliver the goods.

[Image: game-news-image-2011-79283e2cc8d26817f8c...63d244.jpg]
Following months of speculation, it appears the inevitable is about to come to fruition as Eurogamer is reporting that an announcement from Gearbox Software and 2K Games regarding a sequel to its surprise 2009 hit shooter Borderlands is imminent. According to the source, the game will launch sometime in 2012 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

Borderlands impressed critics in 2009 with its impressive visual flair and unique RPG mechanics, garnering an 85.9% average rating on GameRankings (Xbox 360 version). Perhaps even more impressive, the game managed to strike a chord with gamers en masse to the tune of over 4 million copies sold, prompting publisher 2K Games to describe a sequel as "a no-brainer".

Dragon Quest X almost done, announcement 'by the end of this year'

by on Apr 6th 2011 10:30AM

Series creator Yuji Horii announced Dragon Quest X, in development for Wii, at a press conference in December 2008. And that was the last anyone heard about it until the April 2011 issue of Nintendo Power. The subject came up in an interview feature about "Dragon Quest through the Ages," when Horii stated that it's nearing completion.

"All we can say is that development is going well and we're on the last parts of the game," Horii said. "We can't really share much else at this point, but by the end of this year we should be able to announce something regarding it."

Horii explained that the move to Wii was motivated by his feeling that "some users will want to play Dragon Quest on the big screen," noting that the choice of platform, including the decision to put a particular game on a handheld system, is "really a case-by-case basis." He also said that the team hears "that players want a new Dragon Quest that follows the same system of Dragon Quest VIII, so that's something else we're taking into consideration while in development of a Dragon Quest for Wii."
