[PC] Announcement trailer surfaces for King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition
The rumours surrounding an impending PC release for King of Fighters XIII via Valve's Steam have been floating around for awhile now. However, we have our first piece of real evidence supporting the PC port.

An announcement trailer has surfaced on YouTube supposedly outing the King of Fighters XIII Steam Edition of the game and seemingly confirms that it will be released in the future. SNK Playmore hasn't confirmed anything at this point, but it seems like the trailer has done that work for them.

[GC'13, Multi] New trailer surfaces for Thief reboot; February 2014 release confirmed

Eidos-Montreal have been working on on Garrett, the Master Thief, and his comeback game and Square Enix have filled us in on when we'll be able to experience the fruits of their labour.

Thief will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on February 25th, 2014 (North America) and February 28th (Europe). So if you are a fan of the franchise this will be a game worth keeping an eye on. The title will also be featured at Gamescom next week and as a result Square Enix have prepared a new trailer to celebrate.

I'm finding myself somewhat anxious about this game, I have fond memories of the original Thief games and can't shake the feeling that this title may not fill the void. I am willing to give it a chance though, so I'd best start training my first-person stealth abilities in preparation.

[PS3, X360] Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII demo footage surfaces on YouTube

YouTube user Dante14181 has uploaded footage from Square Enix's next big release, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, directly to YouTube.

The footage is in Japanese, as a result neither the text or audio is in English, and is shot off-screen, that being said the video offers a decent look at the game in action and contains no background noise. So, if you are curious to see how the newest Final Fantasy game is shaping up it is worth checking out.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is set to be released next February for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Spike Video Game Awards will be throwing the curtain back on the first trailer for Alan Wake's upcoming adventure, but Game Informer have posted up the first screenshot. Feel free to dissect it any way that you believe you can.
Here's two things: Alan is wielding a pretty unreal gas-powered pneumatic nail gun, additionally Night Springs is a 15 mile walk from where ever Alan is... so he has quite the walk ahead of him.

What are your hopes for Alan Wake's next adventure?

My hopes... Are that it's a prelude to a sequel.

Honestly, Alan Wake deserved so much more than it got. It was brilliant, and contends for a spot in my top 10 all time games. While I'm 100% looking forward to this and will purchase it the moment it's released, I can't suppress some sadness towards the fact that we may not see Alan Wake return in a full out retail game.
