[3DS] February 10th sees the release of the Pearl Pink 3DS

February is a month of love, or more accurately it contains a day dedicated to love if you are neither bitter nor jaded and Nintendo are recognising this period by releasing the Pearl Pink 3DS separately for eager consumers to snap up.

This is the same model of 3DS that was available in a bundle with Nintendogs over the holidays but will now be available as a standalone model for $169.99. Essentially it is the same price, customers just won't receive a free game with the hardware anymore. The release is naturally being poised as a way to squeeze some sales out of Valentines Day, so if your significant other wants a 3DS this might be your best chance!

Eager gamers in the UK will be able to pick up the handheld on the 10th of February, as well as the Ice White model (which has not been confirmed for the US yet).
