[3DS] Miyamoto Expects Super Mario 3DS This Year
Details have been scarce regarding Mario's foray onto the 3DS, but Mario creator and all-around gaming super-genius Shigeru Miyamoto is still hoping that the platforming king will make his 3DS debut before the end of 2011: "I promise to do all I can to deliver the new Mario game this year," said Miyamoto in an interview with French gaming site Gamesblog.fr.

So far all that has been revealed about Super Mario 3DS are a few screenshots that were shown at the Game Developers Conference in March along with the above Super Mario logo for the game, that conspicuously features a tail attached to the letter "O". Expect a lot more details on this game at E3 in June.
