[GDC 11, 3DS] Super Mario logo shown, full reveal coming at E3

[GDC 11, 3DS] Super Mario logo shown, full reveal coming at E3 Besides showing us a new trailer for Skyward Sword, Iwata also gave us the first tiny details for the upcoming Super Mario title for the 3DS. Not much was announced, but we got a peek at a temporary logo (which seems to feature a raccoon tail on it) and discovered that the game is being worked on by the same team who gave us the Super Mario Galaxy games.
He also mentioned that the game would get fully revealed at E3 in a few months. Can you decipher anything in particular from the screens below? And are you excited for another Mario game from the Galaxy team?

I mean, if someone's a hardcore Mario player, they'd probably pull off amazing maneuvers with just the D-pad, a la SM64DS. As for compatibility, it would be foolish for them not to integrate the circle pad. I found my wii!
