Wii Download Scams

then you've already noticed that most of these sites are saying a lot of the same things. I bet if you search Google or Yahoo for anything related to Wii Downloads that 90% of what you will find are website, blogs, ads, and articles all promoting one of these three sites if not all three. • • • My Wii Downloads Unlimited Wii Downloads Wii Media Downloads

These three sites are the most popular Wii Downloading Sites out of the many to chose from. They promise to give you unlimited downloads all for a low time fee plus much more. Are Wii Downloading Sites A Scam? These three Wii Downloading Services and others like it are Not necessarily "scams" but they're not as great as they claim to be. The truth is that these sites are nothing more than links to free shareware and links to torrent files that free. When searching for information about Wii Downloading Services I found a site promoting one of these Three Wii Downloading Services. The guy shows the inside of a membership area from a short video he made and what I noticed many of you might find very interesting. This guy made a video that’s shows the actual Unlimited Wii Downloads Membership Area and one of the first things he shows you at the beginning of the video are six links to Wii Download databases. What he fails to mention and what Unlimited Wii Downloads fails to mention is that the link on their site are just links to free torrent files that are available for free if you know where to go. Click here and just watch the first half of the video. Watch where he clicks on the second database link (free torrent link) at the beginning of the video and pay close attention to what the site looks like. Now click here to go to the same site as shown in the video. You can see that it looks the exact same. The only difference may be the dates and games listed because the video was made at a different time then when you just now looked at it. So, as you can see you can easily get free access to the same site from the link I have given you for free and the one that Unlimited Wii Download gives you that you have to pay for. What are Torrent Sites and How to Use Them Free Torrent sites are just sites filled with small torrent files. In essence, torrent files are

just small files that simply contain textual data giving instructions to BitTorrent (compatible peer-to-peer "P2P" clients) about the file itself. A BitTorrent compatible client first has to be installed on you computer for this process to work. Torrent files tell BitTorrent where to find the "tracker" for the downloaded file, hashed checksum that verifies for the client that it's downloading the correct file, the full file and filename of the file. So basically when clicking on a torrent file and launching the file it sends information to the BitTorrent (P2P) about the file then the BitTorrent is able to first contact the tracker described in the torrent file and if the tracker server is found and "seeds" (people sharing the file) are available, launches a download process of the file described. This can be confusing and hard to follow if you've never heard of torrent files or downloaded Wii games off the internet but basically it's like downloading music from Limewire. All you are doing is downloading the file from someone else on Limewire (BitTorrent in this case) that is sharing the file at that time. Wii Downloading Services A Scam? Don't forget that Wii Downloading Services are not apart of Nintendo in anyway. Nintendo does not want you to be able to download free Wii Games off the internet and strongly discourage against it. The only time Nintendo wants you to download games off the internet is when you're buying and paying for it through Nintendo. This is why you must buy a mod chip or use a soft-mod Wii hack for downloaded Wii Games to work on your Wii. For more proof about Wii Downloading Scams check out this link to AfterDawn Forum and read the post from real Wii users talking about Wii Downloading Scams. As you can see from the posts on the AfterDawn Forum page Wii Downloading Services are nothing more than shareware and torrent links. The truth about these Wii Downloading Services can be hard to find. The only real place to find real facts about Wii Downloading scams are to check messages boards and forums but even there the information is either out of date or just plain wrong. What You Need To Know About Mod Chips and Wii Hacks Modifying your Wii with a mod chip or using a soft-mod Wii hack is like using a double edge sword. Modifying your Wii you can turn your Wii into the ultimate media center device that anyone would be jealous of. However, if you make a fatal error in the process of modifying your Wii you can completely ruin your Wii Console. These risks are slim to none but you should be aware of them so you can make the proper decision for you. Pros • • Play Backup Games Download Wii Games

Mod Chips Are Illegal Mod Chips Void Your Warranty Potential to Brick Your Wii

You can search all over the internet and find nothing but conflicting stories about the good and the bad of modifying your Wii. Some say that it's not worth the risk and some absolutely swear that modifying your Wii is the only way to go. Even though it's illegal most Wii owners are still modifying their Wii's. Wii owners are still doing this because they know Nintendo won't go after the individual Wii owner. Nintendo is focusing on the source of their problem which is the manufactures of the Mod Chips and the professional hackers themselves. So if you have a Wii and are thinking about hacking your Wii the legal side of the issue shouldn't be a big concern for you to worry about because it is highly unlikely that anything will happen to you. The mostly likely thing that would go wrong is your Wii getting bricked. Good News / Bad News - Modifying Your Wii The battle between Nintendo and Mod Chip manufactures and Team Twiizers is an ongoing process that the hackers are winning right now. Nintendo is constantly developing new ways to prevent Wii owners from hacking and modding their Wii, while at the same time Wii hackers are continuing to counter act Nintendo’s work by developing new ways to hack Wii's. Good News The good news for Wii owners is that the hackers are winning the battle as of now. So if you’re trying to unlock and hack your Wii you can do so fairly easily. The greater news for Wii owners is that you can now soft-mod your Wii and install Wii Homebrew without having to add a mod chip to the Wii Hardware of your Wii console. Bad News Like I just mentioned Nintendo has been fighting back against Wii hackers and the word is that they've developed a new Wii that will totally lockout soft-mod Wii hacks. Mod Chips will still be able to work and be connected to your Wii but

they're a much more grueling task especially if you have no experience with them. My Recommendation If you have been thinking about modifying your Wii and want to transform your Wii into an unbelievable piece of media equipment I recommend you to soft-mod your Wii while you still can. If you soft-mod your Wii and install the Homebrew channel before the new Wii version comes out you'll be able to continue to use it for as long as you want. I know I pointed out a lot of negatives about modifying your Wii but my intentions weren't to scare you or change your mind one way or the other. I just wanted to point out some risk that you need to be aware of and wanted you to know the truth about Wii Downloading Services. I actually recommend soft-modding your Wii because I think it’s actually pretty safe if you take the time to learn the background information and take the precautionary steps that you need to take to protect yourself and you’ll be fine. And once you do get your Wii modified and figure out how to easily download games and get them to play on your Wii you will be extremely happy with what your Wii can ultimately do. The Safest and Easiest Way for You If you'd like to make it easier on yourself there is something you can do to save time and to make sure your getting correct and up to date information. If you don't mind spending a little money you can get everything you need in one easy to access area. It has all the correct and up to date information that you absolutly need. It also gives you the correct links to guide you to the correct software that you can safily install on your computer with no worries. They also have a 24/7 customer support team that will help you through the process if you are to get stuck. I know I already said that you can do everything you need to do to your Wii to soft-mod it for free but also remember that there are thousands and thousands of places that you can go to the someone is eiter flat out lying or just plain wrong. The information might have been right but is now wrong because it's from a year ago. Also remember that I said the best place to get correct information are message boards and forums but beware of information here to because Nintendo will have representives provided false information to purposely throw you off. So all in all, Wii Downloading Services aren’t scams they do provide you with a service of gathering information that you need but they also skew the truth a bit. Homebrew Wii Installer does much of the same thing without over pricing their services. So you can choose to attack the problem yourself but I recommend that if you don't know a lot about this type of stuff to just spend a little extra money to get all the information you need in one easy to access area. Angry Birds Coming to 3DS and Wii, Valentine's Day Version Hitting Today

Skip to navigation » Skip to content » PC Magazine Chloe Albanesius - PC Magazine Chloe Albanesius - Pc Magazine – Mon Feb 7, 5:56 am ET

Rovio has had a busy weekend. The company, which produces the popular "Angry Birds" game, confirmed that the game will be available on the Wii and 3DS later this year, announced plans for a Valentine's Day version, and unveiled a secret, Rio-centric level during yesterday's Super Bowl.

On the console front, Rovio tweeted Saturday that Wii and 3DS versions of Angry Birds are coming "later in the year." When asked if it will be a full release or a download, Rovio said it prefers "downloads and digital distribution on all platforms, it's green like the pigs."

In early January, Sony announced that Angry Birds would be available on the PSP and PS3 as a mini game, with 63 levels. Rumors about Angry Birds on popular game consoles first started cirulcating in November when Rovio chief executive Peter Vesterbacka told the BBC that Rovio is working on a version of the game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and Wii game consoles.

Until then, users can amuse themselves with a Valentine's Day version of the game, which Rovio said will hit today for Android and iOS users. It will be incorporated into Angry Birds Seasons, the holiday version of Angry Birds that already features Halloween and Christmas options. Those who have already downloaded Seasons will get the Valentine's Day option via today's update.

It costs $0.99 on the iPhone, $1.99 for an HD version on the iPad, and is free for Android users.

Finally, Rovio on Sunday released a secret code that allows users to access a Rio-centric level of the game. In late January, Rovio unveiled a new Angry Birds game, a partnership with 20th Century Fox known as "Angry Birds Rio." The game will be released in conjunction with the studio's movie, also called "Rio."

To access, users must first get to Ham 'Em High, level 13-12. At that point, the first two birds will be yellow and white. According to Android Community, users can launch the yellow bird anywhere they want, but when it comes to the white bird, launch it backwards in order to unlock a special golden egg. That will give you the option to kick a golden football, which will take you to a level where the structures spell out the word "Rio." More details and screen shots are availalbe on Android Community.

A new update for iOS and Android, meanwhile, increases Ham 'Em High to 30 levels, Rovio said Sunday. The company also announced that Android users will have the option of purchasing the Mighty Eagle and other new content using its new payment system, Bad Piggy Bank.

[Wii] Review Roundup - Mario Sports Mix

[Wii] Review Roundup - Mario Sports Mix [Image: game-news-image-2011-aa438d33a2913f4aa11...8778bb.jpg]IGN - 6.5/10 - "Mario Sports Mix feels like a weird cross between something like Mario Sluggers and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. It doesn't have the depth and appeal of one of the bigger sports game, but it's too barebones to be a cool mini-game party sports game. It's shiny and humorous, and for little kids or a single evening it could make a fun party game, but this is a pretty weak offering, especially compared to all the fun sports games Mario has starred in."

1UP - B - "I didn't try out any of the online functionality, but personally, I never play Wii games online anyway. It's more likely any multiplayer you do will be local, and whether you're playing competitively or cooperatively, Sports Mix lends itself well to playing with a couch full of friends. In the beginning of this review, I touched on how bizarre the story is, but those are surprises you should experience for yourself. Suffice to say that, despite the faults the individual events have, winning the Star Cup in all four sports unlocks a bonus cameo that almost makes all of the earlier tedium worth it. While Mario Sports Mix could definitely be a lot better, it's still a lot more fun that it should be. "

GameSpot - 4/10 - "Mario Sports Mix is rarely outright bad, but the whole experience is so utterly flat that it's hard to find the excitement. All of the sports control well and have their moments of fun, but they're ultimately so predictable that any sense of thrill is gone within the first few games. Mario sports games usually offer a goofy take on an established idea, but there's no such hook in his latest athletic attempt. This game lacks the depth of a more skillful sports outing and the joyful tug of anything-goes arcade action. Mario deserves a vacation for his hard work, but this is not the way to go about it."

Eurogamer - 7/10 - "Though it was prudent of Square-Enix to realise that none of these games could sustain an entire Mario sports title in itself, that also tells you all you need to know about them – they're simple, fast and fun, but pretty insubstantial. Ridiculously dim AI and sluggish tournament pacing make the single-player a chore for the first hour or two, and though it wakes up a bit after that, it's the multiplayer that really justifies its existence. With four people, two-on-two, Basketball and Hockey are as good as any Mario sport since Tennis or Strikers. As a whole package, this isn't quite up to the standard you'd hope for from Mario Sports, but it certainly doesn't damage the series' reputation."

GamePro - 3/5 - "But in the end, it really doesn't matter what score I give it or how much I bemoan the weak single-player offerings, because Mario Sports Mix is well-made enough that its primary audience -- casual and younger players -- are going to absolutely love it in spite of its flaws. If you're a more advanced player, dedicated single-sport Mario titles like Super Mario Sluggers and Mario Strikers Charged are far more substantial and enjoyable experiences. But if you want a colorful pick-up-and-play game to enjoy with your less gaming-inclined friends and family, Mario Sports Mix ought to work just fine -- just don't expect to dig it out too often otherwise."
