Capcom has been under fire recently, even more so since it was discovered that they had stored some locked content on-disc and would be offering it for purchase later down the road. Well, now we have prices for that content in the form of a character pack (which would include the 12 Vita exclusive characters).
Capcom defended their decision to have the characters on-disc to preserve hard-drive space and allow an easier transition when the DLC is made available as well as allowing those who opt to not purchase the additional characters to play against those who do.
Pricing applies to them as a full pack (none of the characters will be made available separately) and will set you back $20 / £16 / 1600 MSP.
Capcom also detailed some future content that will be made available, including a swap costume pack that allows you to dress Street Fighter characters as Tekken characters and vice versa. These will be available as in packs $12/€12.99/£9.99/1040 MSP or you can buy costumes individually for $1/€0.99/£0.79/80 MSP.
As an act as generosity they will also be releasing some free content including: Nine brand new gem packs, boasting over 60 gems total.Replay analyzer.Tournament support for gem selection.Three new quick combo pre-sets.Three additional gem loadout slots.Three new colour packs with four colours each.
