Murdered: Soul Suspect is an interesting new project in development at Square Enix and slated for release on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 at some point in early 2014.

Now it appears that Square Enix could be teasing something in the not-too-distant future for their newest game. A user on NeoGAF spotted an interesting tweet from there Murdered: Soul Suspect Twitter account.

"disTUrbing nEw evidence fileS in archive. how Does this relAte to the case?"

Before you ask, no I don't have a problem with my keyboard's caps lock, it's almost definitely an intentional teaser. Piecing together the capitalised letters spells out TUESDA, one letter short of Tuesday.

What do you think it'll be? Will Square Enix shed some more light on this mysterious project? Of course, this could just be a coincidence as well but I feel compelled to remind you (and myself) that we're ridiculously close to E3.

[3DS, Vita] Capcom aren't planning to bring Monster Hunter to the Vita any time soon

[3DS, Vita] Capcom aren't planning to bring Monster Hunter to the Vita any time soon

Monster Hunter is a franchise that brings a significant following, especially in Japan. So naturally many people have been wondering when Capcom's franchise would make the leap to the PlayStation Vita. Considering its success across various installments on the PlayStation Portable the move seemed inevitable, however following the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the 3DS and Wii U (and forthcoming release of Monster Hunter 4 on the 3DS) Capcom have announced they have no plans for Monster Hunter on the Vita at this time.

The disappointing news was first uncovered by NeoGAF (via IGN) a few days ago on the Capcom forums in a topic concerning the matter.

Inside the topic Yuri Araujo, an associate community specialist, confirmed that Capcom currently have "no plans for a PSVita Monster Hunter at the moment." Araujo instead reminds PlayStation fans that they will have the option to download Monster Hunter Freedom Unite from the PlayStation Store.

I'm not really a fan of the Monster Hunter franchise but it is definitely hard to deny that this is a blow to the Vita; especially in Japan where Monster Hunter is one of those franchises that really sell hardware.

However, it isn't all doom and gloom for Vita owners as they still have the fantastic Soul Sacrifice to look forward to.

What do you make of it? Are Capcom sticking with the 3DS purely because of sales or do you think they have some sort of deal with Nintendo at this point?

[Wii] Nintendo not planning a Donkey Kong Country Returns sequel yet

[Wii] Nintendo not planning a Donkey Kong Country Returns sequel yet [Image: game-news-image-2011-7f7d24e8e45db04346a...9bc574.jpg]
Despite the success of the recent Donkey Kong Country Returns, Nintendo have declared there are no current plans for a sequel. The news came from a panel held at GDC by Nintendo and Retro Studios which shed light on the game's journey from concept to creation.

In an interview with Game Informer the Nintendo producer, Kensuke Tanabe, said he had already turned down Retro when they approached Nintendo five years ago about tackling a Donkey Kong game. When Nintendo decided it was time to bring back the tie-wearing ape they approached Retro and asked if they were still interested in making the game.

The question is: will Nintendo create a sequel for Donkey Kong Country Returns? It seems silly not to, considering the games' success and critical acclaim. Tanabe had the following to say, "I wouldn't say we won't do a sequel [for Donkey Kong Country Returns], but we don't have anything planned at this time." Take that quote with a grain of salt though, because he also mentions they weren't going to do a sequel for Metroid Prime until Retro showed him the last scene in the game near the end of development. Plus, when has Nintendo ever turned away the idea of a sequel to a popular game.
