OXM is reporting some news that the Achievement obsessed among you will be very interested to hear; Xbox One versions of Xbox 360 games will feature a separate list of Achievements.

That's right, this means that you could achieve twice the Gamerscore on one account for unlocking all of the Achievements in an Xbox 360 game (such as Watch_Dogs) and the next generation counterpart on the Xbox One.

The news was confirmed by Microsoft's Marc Whitten yesterday when he was speaking to IGN about the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

"Every game has its own set of achievements, so if you're playing Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox 360 and on Xbox One, you can earn a separate set of Gamerscore in each game," said Whitten. "But on the Xbox One version, you're getting a much richer set of features, such as seeing your achievements progress on the Xbox One console, being able to unlock new achievements throughout the year, and earning real prizes inside and outside of the game."

So, there you have it. If you are eager to boost your Gamerscore as much as possible then it might benefit to pick up an Xbox One.
