Nintendo managed to showcase a bunch of independent software being developed by a group of European and Australian developers during their Nintendo Direct streams.
Here's a video showcasing some of the games in action.
Indie games are definitely the way forward so it is good to see Nintendo really flexing their muscle in this department, some of the stuff shown looks very interesting as well.
