Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon had one of the most bizarre conceptions in recent memory; it was announced on April Fool's Day and then surprised everyone by actually existing. It took Far Cry 3 in a completely different direction; removing us from a hostile tropical island and taking us to a hostile tropical island in the distant future of 2007 with lasers and plenty of 80's future action.

You should be playing it; luckily it is standalone if you don't feel like shelling out for Far Cry 3 (which was also an extremely enjoyable game).

Anyway, a recent interview with Michael Biehn, the star of Blood Dragon, on Major Nelson Radio has revealed that we could see the return of Sergeant Rex 'Power' Colt.

“[Creative director Dean Evans] was with me on the phone last night. He was pretty jacked up,” Biehn said. “He was going into a meeting today, to you know – I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He’s got a sequel in mind.”

I'm definitely with Evans; I'd love to see a full game built like Blood Dragon.

Thanks VG247.
