[GC'11, Vita] The WayForward bringing Silent Hill: Book of Memories to Vita
Silent Hill has been to a lot of places, now WayForward is bringing the franchise to the multiplayer world for the PlayStation Vita. The game will run seemingly in a top-down fashion and will feature some RPG elements.

The screen shot above depicts Harry (Silent Hill), James (Silent Hill 2) and Maria (Silent Hill 2) as being playable characters. The game isn't set in the main canon, and instead takes place in another separate universe. You will also have the option of creating your own protagonist to further remove yourself from the main Silent Hill canon.

Expect more information as Gamescom continues.
