Tetris 3D (previously Tetris Axis and not to be confused with ’3D Tetris’ that came out in 1996 for the Virtual Boy) is an upcoming puzzle video game for the Nintendo 3DS which is being developed by Tetris Online Inc. Hudson Soft confirmed that it is going to be released some point in Winter 2011 for the Nintendo 3DS earlier in June 2010 along with other games such as Bomberman 3DS. At Nintendo’s E3 2011 website, it is revealed that it would be released in October 2011. It will feature over 20 game modes, 8-person multiplayer, and Augmented Reality modes.
