Update: Gameblog.fr was corrected by Christophe Balestra regarding the chronology, and it was confirmed that Uncharted Portable will be set before Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
Naughty Dog Co-President Christophe Balestra in an interview with gameblog.fr, that was translated by eurogamer, shed some details regarding the upcoming Uncharted title that's headed to Sony's upcoming NGP handheld.
According to the interview, Uncharted Portable (Working Title) will be set between Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves before the events of Uncharted: Drakes' Fortune, and will "most likely" feature interaction with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
Balestra also said that Uncharted Portable will have a different pacing structure than it's predecessors. Sony Bend wants to focus on more exploration and less gunfights to allow the players more time between action sequences so they can play in short bursts.
With that, we're left with the hope that we'll see more of Uncharted Portable at E3 2011. What do you expect out of this new Uncharted title that's isn't coming from Naughty Dog?
