The Wii has been pretty quiet as of late, but despite this Nintendo of America is reassuring that there will be more games for it.

NOA's Reggie Fils-aime had discussed with Rich George of IGN in the recent Game Scoop podcast that they are indeed preparing to deliver some more software goodies for the Wii fanbase. It may seem like it's been a trickle thus far, but they're coming soon, yes they are.

More of us coming for your Wii!

So far, we've had Mario Sports Mix released, but it appears that there should be a couple more RPGs to be localized for this year: Xenoblade and The Last Story. A new Kirby title has been announced as well before 2010 ended, so maybe we will be getting that too.

Developers and publishers have been saying that the Wii is already on the tailend of its lifecycle, but it looks like they are still gearing up for a fight. We'll see what they've got still.

I guess they're still deciding on the gimmick to sell the next piece of obsolete technology, so they can then drop support for the wii entirely.
