Today's DSiWare and WiiWare lineup definitely looks like the work of a company that isn't paying the strictest attention to its current generation of consoles. As Nintendo turns its eye toward the future, the downloadable Wii and DS lineup is looking pretty sparse.

The good news is that Flat Black Films was finally able to sneak its remarkable-looking animation app, Inchworm Animation, into the DSi Shop. That DSi in your hand just magically became an animation studio. Or it will, later, if you buy the program.

WiiWare Word Searcher Deluxe (Digital Leisure, 1-4 players, 500 Wii Points): 100 word search puzzles, each in a different theme.Demo: Learning with the PooYoos: Episode 3 (Lexis Numerique, 1 player, 0 Wii Points): The third demo for this educational series. This one is apparently about "plants and music."DSiWare Airport Mania: First Flight (Lemon Games, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): Safely land planes in eight different airports.Inchworm Animation (Flat Black Films, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): Feature-rich drawing and animation program, allowing you to make images up to 9,999 x 9,999 pixels in size.Ubongo (Korner Entertainment, 1-2 players, DSi Points): A DSiWare version of a board game in which each player tries to solve a puzzle by making a predefined shape with colored tiles.
