The Queen visited King's Lynn Deaf Centre in West Norfolk earlier today, where she greeted staff and volunteers as part of a 40-minute tour to honor the services offered there. Later, the Queen remained a spectator while an 11- and 13-year-old engaged each other in a friendly game of Wii baseball.
It's a great human interest story and all that, but we're a tad disappointed Her Majesty didn't get her game on. After all, last we heard the Queen was down with Wii Bowling - maybe she could've stomped these two kids at their own game? Then again, it's not like we would've had great footage, as the only photo of the event we could find is the tiny one on the right. Oh well.
The only more uncomfortable photo op was when the Queen was forced to wear 3D glasses at a North American 3D production studio.
Above: Can't we leave this poor 84-year-old monarch alone?
